We are not meant to do this work alone. I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with fellow professionals and aspiring students within our community. Whether you’re a graduate student, associate, or licensed mental health professional, I offer individualized consultation rooted in inclusive, affirming, and trauma-informed frameworks. Together, we can explore clinical challenges, case conceptualization, ethical dilemmas, private practice development, and areas of specialization including sex therapy, LGBTQIA+ care, and decolonizing therapeutic practice.
To facilitate this, I provide complimentary 30-minute consultations for students and mental health professionals. Please schedule at least one month in advance.
For more in-depth discussions, I offer hourly consultation services.

Dr. Madisyn Roberts (She/her)
LMHC, CST
Hi, I’m Madi Roberts—a Seattle-based licensed mental health counselor, AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, educator, and researcher. I earned my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Antioch University, where my research explored meaning-making and identity construction among bisexual adults along with decolonized and Queer affirming approaches to counseling, education, supervision and research. I’m a proud graduate of Washington State University (go Cougs!), where I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology and Human Development. I went on to earn my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Sex Therapy and Sex Education from Antioch University Seattle.
My work is deeply rooted in LGBTQIA+ identity development, sexuality, and Intersectionality. I center pleasure-focused, sex-positive, and liberation-based practices across my clinical, educational, and research work. I’m passionate about bridging academic research and community impact through therapy, teaching, supervision and advocacy.
As a sex-positive provider, I recognize the importance of examining my own privileges and identities. As a white, cisgender, Queer clinician, I bring an intentional, inclusive approach to my work that honors clients’ lived experiences and fosters safety, curiosity, and connection.
I live in the vibrant Seattle area with my partner and two fur babies, Duke and Himmy—who just might make a cameo in our virtual sessions.
